In case any of these businesses do not match your kind of business to start from , please share with us those businesses that are best to start from home.
So the businesses are:

  • Childcare Business.
  • Virtual Fitness Trainer.
  • Web Developer.
  • Executive Assistant.

  • Translator
  • Tutor.

There are so many cool possibilities. You could sell stuff you make, offer services online, or even do something digital like a blog or YouTube channel. The most important thing is finding something you're really excited about. What kind of ideas are you exploring?
Sometimes it can be difficult to settle for what you are passionate about because it may not be forthcoming when it comes to making money. However, one can have multiple skills and settle for one

Great responses so far! I started this thread because I know a lot of people want to work from home but aren’t sure what’s best for them. Like @esprit_girl mentioned, freelancing and affiliate marketing are solid choices, and digital products can be a great long-term play.

Childcare is definitely viable, but as @King Belieal pointed out, it requires proper setup and experience.

At the end of the day, the best home business is one that matches your skills, interests, and resources. What businesses have worked for you, and what challenges did you face?

I think child care business would be a really viable business to start from home. But the fact remains that anyone starting such business must show competence in infrastructure and capacity to handle kids. But it is a very viable business to start from home.
But I was actually thinking about the possibility of running a child care from home and online and I’ve heard about it but I’ve been thinking about the possibilities.
Will be glad if anyone can actually tell me about how this things about nanny care from online really works.

I think all of these businesses have potential, regardless of gender. Personally, I’m drawn to the idea of starting a virtual fitness trainer business. Fitness has become a huge online niche, and with the right certifications and an engaging presence, I could attract clients from all over. I’d focus on offering personalized, flexible workout plans and using social media and platforms like Zoom for virtual sessions. For marketing, I’d leverage social proof by encouraging client testimonials and posting before-and-after results.

For someone else, dropshipping could be a great option, especially if they have an eye for trending products and can manage an efficient supply chain. Virtual fitness trainer and tutor businesses seem particularly promising because they don’t require significant upfront investment and can easily be scaled.

If none of these businesses suit someone, I’d recommend exploring content creation on platforms like YouTube or even starting an online store selling handmade goods or digital products. It's a creative way to start something from home and build an audience.

Well said, and if anyone is also interested, they can start snail farming but these isn’t an online job but a physical one and if you have any spare space in your home, then starting a snail farm is a great option for you.

There are various kinds of businesses you could start from your home. For example, you could start a bakery business and you could sell other kinds of food products. There are many people who are earning a good sum of money by registering themselves as "Home Chefs" at an app called "Food Panda". This offers them the opportunity to sell home-made food products and earn money. There are many similar kinds of apps available in different countries. However, you must need to make sure that your product is topnotch.

I started a graphic design business about a year ago, but stopped it about 3 months ago due to not having the sufficient capital.

This business wasn’t started in my own home, but instead started at my friend’s home during a sleepover. We started the business up over the duration of the sleepover and when I left their house, we already had social media gaining followers and we were making logos continuously.

So to answer your question, this is a company which I started, but at someone else’s home.
