People in the U.S. used to be unsure about electronic payments, but now they really like them. At first, some folks doubted it, but as electronic payments became more convenient and efficient, everyone started to like them.

As technology got better, people trusted that their transactions were safe, so more and more folks started using digital wallets and contactless payments. The COVID-19 pandemic made this even more popular, as everyone wanted to avoid touching things. It looks like we're heading towards a society where hardly anyone uses cash anymore.
