The question whether betting sites also bets would be personal to the betting sites. There are some that would bet on the same odds that the customers are betting on, while some may not even bet at all.

Professionally, betting sites don't need betting again. They are to serve purely as a regulating and a platform where gamblers can make their bets.

Firstly I don’t understand the question as betting sites Betting because a site is only an interface controlled by others and I think the right question should be “Do Bet site owners also bet?”

And if this is what you mean then yes, they do bet as it is open for everyone at anytime and they can’t influence their game odds except they want to ruin their reputation.

On the long run, betting sites are making so much money that they wouldn’t be willing to bet especially on their platform as it’s more like winning your own money

Are betting sites not already betting against the user? If it engages in external betting too, that is unethical. They are not supposed to bet. Betting sites in my country don't bet.

I personally don’t think, there are any restrictions on casino and betting site owners thy stops them from betting because it’s still same odd, same game and the site is opened for everyone to bet including the site owners(I stand corrected )
