Bep20-Mining is a scam crypto platform that claims to ‘operate nodes’ which enable people to deposit funds and earn large profits.
The site is, however, a fake platform designed to con unsuspecting investors out of their funds.
Victims are usually approached online, either through a social media platform or dating website, before being encouraged to invest in the platform.
The promise of huge returns in a short space of time is too much for some people to resist.
However, any money deposited at Bep20-Mining, or any cash sent after the inevitable demands for payment to be made to release profits and return your money, will be lost.
Spotting a scam – why Bep20-Mining is fake
There are often tell-tale signs to a crypto scam, and Bep20-Mining bears all the hallmarks of being one.
Red flags include:
- The promise of unrealistically high profits.
- A Domain Authority (DA) score of 1 indicating very little traffic and no inbound links.
- No reviews or chatter about the platform online.
- Grand claims on the page about being one of the largest platforms in the world.
- No social media profile or official apps.
- No information about the company or the team behind the platform.
- No details of the company location or proper contact information.
- Poor quality images and grammatically incorrect text on the site.
- The tab name doesn’t match the URL of the platform.
Is it possible to get my money back from the Bep20-Mining scam?
If you’ve lost money to this scam, it’s unfortunately probably gone forever, how you should still report what’s happened to the police where you live.
However, there are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
