❌ SCAM Why You Should Avoid The Ypp08 Crypto Trading And Work Scam

Scam flagged website/app or resource

Ypp08 is a fake crypto trading platform that’s conning unsuspecting investors out of their cash and crypto.
Some victims are being told they can make huge profits by investing their crypto on the platform, while others are being asked to complete YouTube tasks in return for rewards.
With the latter, scam victims are initially paid small amounts to complete the task but soon encouraged to deposit crypto in order to earn credits to carry on ‘working’.
However, with both the investment side and the ‘work’ side of the ypp08 scam, users will soon find their accounts blocked when they come to withdraw their funds and ‘profits’.
Ypp08 victim’s account
One victim of the ypp08 scam who contacted PawProfitForum Team wrote:
“I was recently approached by this company to complete certain tasks starting with the simple YouTube subscription tasks followed by them using money for trade in digital currency.
I traded for a couple of days before they asked me to pay a tax of RM72k (Malaysian Ringgit) to release my funds of RM299k.
To date they have frozen my account and will only unfreeze it if I pay them the tax.
I am from Malaysia and their communication with me has been via telegram.”

Is ypp08 a scam?
Yes, ypp08 is definitely a scam, and there are many reasons why this is the case.
They include:
  • A new domain, with the registrant’s details hidden.
  • A rudimentary, cookie cutter website design
  • No company details, or other financial information
  • Lots of scam reports online
  • The claimed profits are unrealistic
  • Unsolicited approach to victims
  • Demanding fake taxes to release funds
  • Poor grammar and use of English on websites
  • Links leading nowhere, or to sign-up form
  • Generic content that appears scraped from elsewhere
Can I get my money back from the ypp08 scam?
Because of the way the scammers operate it’s often very difficult to trace them and even harder to get your funds back.
There are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
