⍰ ASK What role does the CEO play in the day to day operations of a Public Limited Company?

The CEO of a Public Limited Company guides daily operations, sets goals and collaborates with the board. They make decisions on projects, investments and resources.

CEO lead executive meetings, fostering communication. They represent the company externally, interacting with stakeholders and media.

Financial stewardship involves monitoring the company health, working with CFO on budgets, reporting and compliance.

I think being a CEO sounds like a crazy mix of leadership and juggling tons of stuff. They’re basically the captain of the ship, steering daily operations and making the big calls on projects and investments. I like how they gotta keep the team on the same page with executive meetings and also play the face of the company, dealing with investors and the media. Plus, they have to keep an eye on the company’s money with the CFO, making sure budgets and reports are solid. Honestly, it seems like a tough job but super important for keeping everything running smooth.
