Malljj is a scam crypto DApp and investing platform that investors should avoid.
PawProfitForum Team has had reports from several people who’ve fallen victim to this scam which follows a similar pattern in each case.
Firstly, they’re approached by someone online who quickly strikes up a friendship with them before raising crypto investing.
The scammer explains how they’re make large, easy profits on the Malljj DApp. If the victim is not immediately interested the scammer can become angry and start putting pressure on them.
If the victim does invest, they’ll start to see ‘profits’ accrue in their account straight away, but if they try to withdraw them they’ll be blocked from doing so.
The scammers will then demand various fees to return the victim’s funds but at no point will any money be forthcoming.
There are various red flags with this DApp, including a new domain name registration, unrealistically high profits, being encouraged to invest by a stranger and many things wrong with the actual platform itself.
Can I get my money back from the Malljj scam?
The scammers are based around the world and go to great lengths to hide their identities so it’s very difficult to secure the return of your funds.
However, you should always report what’s happened to the authorities in your country and contact any scam awareness organisations.
There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
