Twelve Whales is a fake trading platform that claims to offer access to a wide variety of financial markets and products, together with crypto.
However, it’s actually a website that’s been set up to scam unsuspecting investors out of their cash using a variety of tricks.
Although it has the appearance of being a genuine platform, after a bit of digging it’s clear there are multiple red flags.
A few things that stand out are:
- The domain name is very new and the platform has a cookie cutter appearance, ie the same template has probably been used across multiple platforms.
- The same goes for the text. Much of it seems to be scraped from other sites and it’s very generic. There are also grammatical errors in the content as well.
- There are no reviews of this platform, nor does it have any associated social media channels or apps which is highly unusual for a trading entity.
- Twelve Whales has no formal identity in terms of company registration and is not regulated by any official bodies which is also highly suspicious.
If someone you’ve met online tries to get you to invest here, break off all contact with them and block them immediately.
