TraderVesta is a scam crypto trading platform that’s being used in conjunction with a WhatsApp group to steal would-be investors’ funds.
While the platform looks semi-legitimate it serves no function other than to fool people into thinking they’re dealing with genuine crypto investment.
The people who’ve contacted The Crypto Investor about TraderVesta have all lost money after they were contacted at random online, befriended and ultimately encouraged to invest here.
They were also directed to a WhatsApp group purportedly showing people talking about how successful their TraderVesta investment had been – but this is all part of the scam.
Having examined the platform, it’s clear there are many red flags which means you should avoid sending any money here.
They include:
- A very new domain registration.
- No real functionality across the platform.
- Numerous spelling and grammatical errors in the content.
- No clear trading strategy or explanation of how the platform makes money.
- Outlandish client number claims.
- The returns on offer are unrealistic.
- No social media platforms or mobile apps.
- Multiple online reviews stating this platform is a scam.
One important thing to do is to let as many people as possible know about the scam through social media and online forums.
You should also inform the authorities about what’s happened to help them probe the fraudsters.
There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
