Tour Future Site – or TripAdvisor Agent Site as it’s also known – is a scam platform which lures people in by getting them to perform ‘tasks’ in return for crypto rewards.
These tasks usually take the form of giving businesses involved in the leisure industry star reviews, earning a commission for each review left.
However, each time you perform a task you use up ‘credits’, a handful of which are given to you when you join the scheme.
You’ll soon run out of credits though and the scammers will start encouraging you to by more credits to increase your commissions.
This cycle will repeat itself until you try to withdraw your ‘earnings’. It’s at this point you’ll find your account has been frozen.
The scammers will either ignore all your emails or demand that you pay a fee or tax to unlock your account. This is just another way of extracting more money out of victims.
What makes Tour Future Site TripAdvisor a scam?
There are loads of red flags about this platform/app, the main one being that it follows the exact same pattern as many other scams cashing in on the legitimate TripAdvisor name.
Other key giveaways include:
- A very new domain name.
- The domain registrants have hidden their details.
- No social signals or presence on review apps.
- Poorly written content filled with grammatical errors.
- The legitimate TripAdvisor platform would never allow its brand to be used this way.
- Load of reports online that other similar platforms are scamming people.
