❌ SCAM Tgtrautt Or Tiger Trade Crypto Platform Scam That’s Fooling Investors

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Tgtrautt – also known as TigerTrade is a scam crypto platform that claims to offer trading and investing services but is actually defrauding users.
Investors are often directed to this platform by someone they’ve met online who they believe they have a romantic connection with.
However, the scammers operate teams of people who fish for victims on social media platforms and dating websites.
Once a victim is hooked in they’ll be encouraged to send cash to a legitimate crypto platform before converting it into a coin such as USDT or Ethereum. They then be directed to deposit it on the scam platform, in this case Tiger Trade.
The victim will see ‘profits’ appear in their account to start with, but when they come to withdraw their cash they’ll be blocked from doing so.
The scammers will then demand large sums of money to release the funds, claiming they are the fees needed to do so.
But any further money sent will be lost as well.
Spotting the TigerTrade scam
There are many things that give this platform away as a scam, including:
  • No real functionality across the platform.
  • Numerous grammatical mistakes in the small amount of content on the site.
  • Missing regulatory, licensing and contact information.
  • No social media platforms or official companion apps.
  • A very new domain name, yet the platform claims to have been around since 2017.
  • A Domain Authority (DA) rank of 1 – the lowest possible meaning the platform doesn’t have any incoming links and very little traffic.
  • The overall look and feel of the site isn’t consistent with a legitimate crypto platform.
  • The domain name is Tgtrautt yet the name on the homepage is given as TigerTrade – not something a legitimate exchange would do.
How to recover funds from TigerTrade
Gather as much information as you can about the scammers you’ve been dealing with and the transactions you’ve made.
You can then report what’s happened to the police, although the chances of recovering your cash is slim.
There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
