❌ SCAM Tactical Refunds, Aio Claim and Encrypt Aragon Scam Crypto Recovery Services

Scam flagged website/app or resource

Tactical Refunds, Aio Claim and Encrypt Aragon are three scam crypto service platforms that are linked to a series of frauds involving cryptocurrency recovery and escrow.
Both Tactical Refunds and Aio Claim are claiming to offer recovery services within the crypto, Forex and financial products area, but are actually fraudulent operations designed to appropriate funds from anyone who employs their services.
Encrypt Aragon, which has links to both the platforms above, is operating as a fake escrow service which ‘holds recovered funds’ until the recipient pays a percentage of the sum to release the funds to their own crypto wallet.
However, none of these platforms are genuine, despite efforts to convince victims that they are, and any money sent to them for ‘services’ will be lost.
Crypto scam refund claims
The person who contacted PawProfitForum Team about these platforms had first engaged the services of Tactical Refunds after losing a significant sum of money in an elaborate scam.
They were told that the money had been traced to a ‘scammer’s wallet’ on Binance, which is a legitimate cryptocurrency exchange.
Aio Claim was then brought in to help negotiate the return of the funds from Binance which, the victim was told, were then transferred into ‘escrow service’ Encrypt Aragon for safe keeping.
The victim was also told that as a gesture of goodwill their funds would be multiplied several times over, bringing the total to an eye-watering sum.
However, this was all part of the scam as the victim was then told they needed to pay 7.5% of the new balance for ‘mixing fees’ – to clean the crypto as it had come from an alleged scammer’s wallet – and ‘matched fees’ to facilitate the transfer.
Both these requirements are nonsense, as is the fee demand and the claim that the money had been multiplied. They’re designed to inflate the fee that the scammers claim is due.
Spotting scam crypto recovery companies
All three of the companies have websites that at first glance appear to be genuine.
However, on closer inspection there are multiple red flags which reveal that they’re scam websites set up for a short period of time before being shut down.
Issues include:
  • New domain name registrations.
  • Grammatical errors and missing images.
  • Clearly fake testimonials using fake ‘model’ images.
  • Addresses that are written incorrectly or lead to a residential street.
  • A lack of regulatory or licensing information.
  • Clearly fake claims about securing money and placing it in a wallet.
  • Additional fake claims of huge ‘goodwill’ payments.
  • The use of terminology and processes that wouldn’t apply, ie ‘coin mixing’.
  • UK Companies House registration certificates that relate to different companies plus no legitimate company posts these on their website.
Because of these, and other issues, it’s important that you don’t send any money to these platforms.
Getting your money back from crypto recovery scammers
If you’ve been scammed by a recovery scammer, knowing who to trust can be understandably difficult.
The first thing you should do is gather as much information about what’s happened and report the matter to the police or fraud authorities in your country.
There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
