❌ SCAM Schroders2016 Exchange Scam Review: Avoid This Fake Digital Asset Trading Platform

Scam flagged website/app or resource

Scammers often resort to imitating legitimate financial institutions in a bid to con unsuspecting investors and that’s exactly what the ‘Schroders2016’ scam has done, albeit poorly.
I heard about this site from a scam victim who emailed me to say they’d been conned out of several thousands dollars by the OGC Wallet scam, and were keen to avoid making the same mistake again.
As most people know, the real Schroders is a UK-based multinational asset management company which employs more than 5,000 people across the globe.
Using this name is an attempt by the scammers to associate themselves with a real firm, although it’s obvious that Schroders2016 is not legit and is a fake company.
How does the Schroders2016 fake crypto platform scam work?
Like many other scams of a similar vein, the scammers want you to sign up for an account and start transferring money to them.
They do this by promising vastly inflated profits over a short space of time which, of course, do not exist.
Once a would-be investor is sucked in and shown the ‘profits’ they are told they need to part with more cash in order to release this money. The scammers often cite things such as an ‘analyst’s commission’ or ‘country tax’.
If the victim pays, further demands will follow until they either runs of funds or halt payments, then the scammers disappear.
How to tell that Schroders2016 is scam website
As I said earlier, Schroders2016 is a crude attempt to replicate a legitimate company, and there are many tell-tale signs that all is not as it seems.
Some of the ways you can tell Schroders2016 is fake are:
  • The exchange claims to be ‘The world’s leading blockchain digital asset trading platform’ yet it is crudely designed with no real functionality.
  • The domain is only a couple of months old.
  • None of the links work, include the footer links.
  • There’s no information about the company or the people behind it on the website.
  • The only contact details are a mobile phone number and a Gmail address.
  • The name of the alleged company is spelled incorrectly in the email address.
  • There are numerous grammatical errors throughout the site, such as Bitcoin being spelt ‘Bikcoin’. The deposit button is labelled ‘Deposit money treasure’.
  • There are multiple warnings on other sites that Schroders2016 is a scam.
Is Schroders2016 a scam?
There’s no doubt in my mind that this is a fake sited that’s been designed to steal your cash, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
There are many red flags that point to this, not least the unprofessional nature of the design, presentation and content.
Do not engage with this site in any way, or respond to anyone who approaches you claiming to represent the platform.
