❌ SCAM Pppslu Top Scam Ethereum Crypto Investing DApp

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Pppslu Top is a scam crypto DApp that promises investors large returns but is actually set up as part of an elaborate fraud.
Victims are contacted via unsolicited messages on various social media platforms before being befriended over several weeks.
They’re then told about a crypto investing platform that’s earning participants big returns over a short period of time.
Once the victim is persuaded to invest they’re directed to send money from their bank account to a legitimate crypto exchange and convert it into tokens such as USDT (Tether) or Bitcoin.
They’re then instructed to send this crypto to a DApp which is set up to look legitimate but is part of the scam.
Pppslu scammers use WhatsApp group
In addition to the DApp, there’s a WhatsApp group which appears to be active and populated with fellow investors talking about how much money they’re earning.
These are both bots and members of the scam group and are designed to encourage the victim to part with more money.
At first the victim will see profits appearing in their account and may even be able to withdraw small sums of money as well.
But as soon as they’ve deposited a significant amount the problems start.
If they try to withdraw their cash or ‘profits’ the scammers will stop them and demand large fees to release the cash.
These come in many forms but include ‘commissions’ and ‘taxes’.
None of it’s true and it’s simply another way for the scammers to extract more money from victims.
What can I do if I’ve been scammed by Pppslu Top?
Retrieving stolen funds from crypto scammers is very difficult, but you should always report the theft to the relevant authorities in your country.
There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
