The Pepperstonefex crypto trading platform is a fake site designed to fool investors into thinking they’re trading tokens.
It uses a ‘cookie cutter’ design that is replicated across many other platforms that are operating fraudulently.
While it appears to offer trading functionality, any money sent to the platform to be invested will be lost.
One victim who contacted PawProfitForum Team said they’d been lured into the parting with their cash after being approached via WhatsApp.
They joined what appeared to be an active group but it’s likely the other participants were bots or members of the scam group.
There are many problems with the platform including:
- A very new domain registration which indicates that the site will be operated for a short period before being shut down.
- No social media channels, companion apps, company, regulator or proper contact information on the site.
- An unrealistic promise of large profits over a short period of time, and the platform is ‘guaranteed’ to make the return stated.
