Max5trade is a scam crypto, Forex and commodities exchange which is designed to steal investors’ funds while offering absolutely no return.
The platform is relatively slick in its design and claims to be partnered with a host of media and crypto organisations, but this is all fake.
Scratch beneath the service and you realise the platform offers no functionality and no investment products.
There are many red flags which make it clear that Max5trade is a scam. They include:
- Numerous grammatical errors in the site content.
- A very new domain name registration.
- A Domain Authority (DA) score of 1, which is the lowest possible.
- No reviews online, aside from negative ones.
- Aside from the website, a complete lack of any online presence, including social media channels.
- The platform is full of dead links that simply lead back to the home page.
- No regulatory or company information.
- A cookie-cutter website design similar to many other scam sites.
According to reports made to PawProfitForum Team, scam victims are often being lured into investing by people they’ve met online.
Often this has happened after they received a message ‘by mistake’ on a variety of social media platforms, such as WhatsApp or Facebook.
The person will befriend the victim over a period of weeks before casually mentioned crypto investing to them.
The victim will then invest money and initially see large profits appearing in their account.
But when they come to withdraw their funds they find their account blocked. The scammers will then demand a fee to release their money but even if they pay this their cash will never be returned.
What can I do if I’ve been scammed by Max5trade?
Firstly, you should note down all the details connected with the scam, including any crypto transaction records.
You should also report what’s happened to the authorities and post about the scam online to let as many people know about it as possible.
There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
