MarketAgent is available in 70+ countries. It is fairly easy to use and offers decent rewards. It can be worth considering but it is just not one of the absolute top survey sites.
MarketAgent is a survey site that is available in many countries. It claims you can help shape products and earn money in the process.
But is MarketAgent legit and worth joining, or is it a waste of time?
I have tested and used hundreds of paid survey sites, and I have also tested MarketAgent thoroughly.
In this MarketAgent review, I will share my experiences with you. You will get an inside look and learn all the pros and cons so you can easily decide if this is the right opportunity for you or not.
What is MarketAgent, and what does the site offer?
MarketAgent.com has its headquarters in Switzerland. On the website, you can find the actual address and also a phone number.
It is almost always a good sign when you can find this kind of information on a survey site, as it is a sign there is a legit and real company behind it, as it is not trying to hide its location.
And let me just reveal right away that MarketAgent is legit and potentially a way to earn some extra money. Being legit does, however, not mean a site is worth joining.
So, let's look at what MarketAgent.com offers, so you can see if it is for you or not.
Option 1 – Paid Surveys
Paid surveys are the main way to earn money on MarketAgent. It makes it easy to use and easy to navigate.
It went through a big update and made the design more modern and more user-friendly compared to when I first joined it, and it is always a good sign when sites keep updated and developing.
Once you have logged in, you can click to see all the available surveys.
There are a decent number of MarketAgent surveys available.
It offers a pretty good number of surveys, but exactly how many you will get access to will depend on the country you live in and on your profile.
The best way to make sure you get as many surveys as possible is by keeping your profile updated and making sure to fill it out as soon as you join if you decide to join after reading this review.
In general, the MarketAgent surveys pay decently for your time, but it is not among the highest paying survey sites, though.
But you can still earn some decent money by taking surveys here, and I like that they make it very clear exactly how many points you get per survey and approximately how long it will take to complete each survey.
In my experience, you will not always receive an email when there is a new survey available for you, so it can be a good idea to log in and check for available surveys once in a while.
Option 2 – MarketAgent Mini-Surveys
Inside the member area, you can find quite a lot of what MarketAgent calls mini-surveys.
The Mini-surveys can be fun, but you will not earn by taking them.
They only take 1 second to answer. However, you need to be aware that you will not get paid to participate in these mini-surveys.
They are just for fun and they are created by other members. And you can also create mini-surveys yourself and get answers from the other members.
I guess it can be fun to participate in. However, I find them a waste of time and prefer just focusing on the paid surveys.
Option 3 – Referral Program
There is one more way to earn a bit extra on MarketAgent, and that is by inviting friends to join. You can share an invitation link with your friends, and if they end up joining, you can potentially earn 100 points (I will go into how much the points are worth below).
However, you just need to be aware that it is not enough that they just join. They need to complete at least one survey before you get the referral reward.
But if you have a lot of friends who might be interested in joining, it can be a way to earn a bit extra. However, compared to many other refer-a-friend programs, it does not have a very high earning potential.
Option 4 – Browser Notifications
This option is technically not a way to earn, but I still wanted to mention it here as it can be a way to increase your earnings.
You can enable browser notifications on the website itself in the section called “notifications”. When you turn it on, a popup will show the notifications.
You can get a browser notification when there is a new survey on MarketAgent.com.
Whether or not this is a good way to be told about new surveys, or if it is annoying, is a personal choice, but now you know the option is there.
It can be a way to increase your earnings, as mentioned above, as you will know about available surveys right away and get to them before they fill up (many surveys only have a limited number of spots).
How do you get paid?
As you have probably already figured out, you will get paid in points when you take surveys on MarketAgent.
These points can then be exchanged for different rewards.
You can get paid in cash or donate to charities.
If you want to get paid in cash, you can get paid via PayPal or Skrill. Alternatively, you can choose to donate your earnings to different charities.
You need to earn at least 1,000 points to be able to withdraw. This will be worth around $10/€10. So 100 points are worth around $1.
Just be aware that the exact payout methods and payout thresholds can vary from country to country (later I will go over which countries it is available in).
Overall, MargetAgent offers good payout methods, in my opinion, and it is also fairly easy to reach the payout threshold.
This is something that has improved since I first joined MarketAgent, where the points system was very confusing, so it is nice to see they have made this more user-friendly.
However, if your preferred payout method is PayPal, there are PayPal survey sites with better reward options, in my experience.
How much money can you make?
To be honest, you should not expect to make a lot of money on MarketAgent. The number of opportunities will vary from country to country.
It does offer a decent number of surveys and decent pay per survey, and this has improved over the last few years. However, you still do not expect to earn too much.
But as an extra survey site, it can be worth considering.
Can you use it on mobile?
MarketAgent has an app, which is great. It can make it easy to take a survey once in a while when you have a bit of extra time.
You can download the MarketAgent app for iOS and Android devices.
The app is very easy to use and user-friendly. You can download it both for Android and iOS devices, so compatibility will not be an issue for most people.
Who can join MarketAgent?
MarketAgent is available in more than 70 countries, and this is also a point where it has improved since I first joined it where it was available in a lot fewer countries.
But if you are interested in joining, you have to check on the website if it is available in your country, as I cannot list all of them here. Furthermore, the platform is regularly expanding, so if your country is not available at the moment, it might be available in the future.
One thing I like about MarketAgent is that in the countries where it is available, it is available in the local language in most cases. So that means you can take surveys in your language.
Final verdict
MarketAgent is a legit survey site. However, that does not mean it is worth joining. But let's finish this review by summing up the pros and cons so you can get an overview and decide if it is a site for you to join or not.

- Not very many opportunities to earn
- Rewards could be higher
Overall, MarketAgent has improved over the last couple of years, and it can be a way to earn a bit extra by sharing your opinion.
However, there are better survey sites, in my opinion, so MarketAgent is only a good option if you want to join as many sites as possible. If your time is a bit limited and only want to join a few sites, you should focus on other sites, in my opinion.
