Glocoin is a scam crypto platform that unashamedly calls itself ‘Binance’ on its website, and even uses the legitimate crypto exchange’s logo.
However, Glocoin is nothing but a scam platform designed to con unsuspecting investors out of their money.
Victims have been directed to the site by people who’ve approached them on social media and claimed that huge profits are available by investing in crypto.
However, those who’ve entered into the scheme and deposited money have lost all their funds after their accounts were blocked by the scammers.
Spotting the Glocoin crypto scam
There are many things wrong with this platform which mean you should avoid it at all costs.
They include:
- Very low Domain Authority score pointing to the fact the site is new and has very little traffic.
- Poorly designed website and grammatically incorrect text.
- None of the functionality that a legitimate investing site should have.
- The promise of unrealistic profits is a huge red flag.
- No company information, or details about the team.
- No social media links or official apps.
- The use of the name and logo of an official site is obviously wrong.
Very little unfortunately. The chances are this platform will be shut down within a matter of weeks.
However, there are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
