we can’t help but be competitive with our friends sometimes that we often challenge them into bets over literally anything it could be about watching sports or just betting on something to happen
sometimes we honor these bets and do give off what was the agreed upon reward/consequence but i have heard stories of friendships getting tainted because of betting
just like a few people i know; two men decided to play and bet on something and when one guy lost he didn’t want to pay the other one so the winner friend got mad and smashed his car
do you ever see yourself ruining a friendship if your friend didn’t honor said bet? or it’s really not that serious? who is at fault here, the friend who didn’t push through the bet because he lost? or the friend who got angry?
