ExNow, or Exnows if you go by the domain rather than the site title, is a fake crypto trading platform used as a front for crypto scammers.
Investors are contacted via social media channels, befriended then urged to invest in the platform, which claims to offer 9,000 products, low spreads and low commissions.
Those who send funds to the ExNow platform, often in the form of USDT (Tether) as per the scammer’s instructions, will lose everything they invested.
How does the ExNow scam work?
Investors are promised huge returns in a short space of time and encouraged to send funds to the platform to start their trading journey.
To start with they’ll see their account balance increase rapidly, but when they come to withdraw their funds, the scammers hit them with further calls for cash.
These often come in the shape of commissions to taxes but are just another part of the scam designed to extract as much money as possible from the victims.
Once the victim has run out of money the scammers will break off all contact and disappear.
