❌ SCAM Etoroc Vip Crypto Trading Scam: Telegram Used To Approach Victims

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Etoroc Vip is a classic fake crypto trading platform which uses a style of website that’s prevalent among scam sites of this nature.
It’s a trimmed down, cookie cutter design that contains none of the information, or regulatory detail you’d expect to find on a genuine crypto exchange.
Also, the name of the site attempts to cash on the legitimate eToro site’s brand, which is a huge red flag.
The person who contacted PawProfitForum Team above Etoroc Vip had been approached by a stranger on social media who started a conversation which quickly turned to crypto investing.
Fortunately, they became suspicious before sending any cash to the scammers.
How does the Etoroc Vip scam work?
If the person had sent crypto to the exchange, the scam would have followed a prescribed pattern.
Firstly, the victim would have seen profits pour into their account while being encouraged to invest more by the scammers.
If they’d done so, their earnings would have continued to increase until they stopped investing and asked for their money back.
They would then have found their account blocked, and the scammers would have demanded a variety of fees or taxes to unlock it.
This is just another way of getting the victim to hand over more cash and at no point would their original funds have been returned.
How can you tell Etoroc Vip is a scam?
This site has many things wrong with it which reveal it’s fake.
They include:
  • The name – no legitimate company would have attempted to rip off the brand of another financial institution.
  • The domain name was registered very recently.
  • The site design is rudimentary and has very little functionality.
  • There are no social media platforms connected to the site.
  • The content that is there features many spelling and grammatical errors.
  • There is no company information available.
  • There are no details about the management team behind the platform, mainly because there isn’t one.
Can I get my cash or crypto back from Etoroc?
The short answer is that it’s highly unlikely as the scammers cover their tracks well.
That said, you should still report the scam to the relevant authorities in your country, especially if you have lost money.
There are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
