❌ SCAM Ethkk Ethk1 Fake Ethereum Platform: Scam Mining Pool Duping Investors

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Ethkk, or ethk1 as it’s also known, is a fake Ethereum mining pool which has been scamming unwitting participants out of their cash.
The pool claims to be running a node that enables investors to add their cash or crypto in return for eye-wateringly high returns.
But the app is completely fake and does not offer any returns. It’s designed as a front to enable scammers to steal your funds.
Things that give the Ethkk scam away:
  • The app prompts you to connect your crypto wallet and transfer funds as soon as you visit.
  • The returns offered are unrealistically high.
  • The domain name is only a few months old, yet it claims to have nearly a million participants.
  • The content is scraped and poorly written. The site claims to have been online since 2019 – see above.
  • The site claims to be located at an office in Washington DC, but of course it isn’t.
  • The audit reports which the site claims to have received do not exist and the links do not go anywhere.
  • Likewise with the claimed business partners – they are not linked to the platform at all.
  • There is no content on the site to explain how the pool works or who is behind the project.
  • There are no social media channels connected with the site.
  • Many people have been scammed by the app and have written about it online.
  • The name of the app doesn’t match the domain name.
As you can see, this is clearly a fake site that is continuing to con people out of their hard-earned cash.
It’s 100% not legit so don’t send any money to the platform and block anyone who approaches you from Ethkk and tries to get you to invest.
How does the Ethkk scam work?
Victims are persuaded to convert their cash to Ethereum before sending it to the platform so they can earn from the ‘mining pool’.
However, the cash is actually stolen by the scammers who demand more if the victim wants to withdraw their funds.
Any further cash or crypto that’s sent is also stolen.
How can I get my money back from the Ethkk / Ehtk1 scammers?
It’s very difficult to get your crypto back but authorities do occasionally manage to catch the scammers.
Make sure you report what’s happened to you. You never know, you may get lucky.
Also, see the links below for other things you can do to get your funds back from the scammers.
