❌ SCAM Esme Ex Scam Crypto Platform: Don’t Fall For The Promise Of Huge Profits

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Esme Ex is a scam crypto trading platform that is part of a series of fake sites using the same basic website design.
I heard about this site from a person who was looking for a legitimate BTC/USDT contract trading portal but had stumbled across several fake crypto exchanges in the process.
From the moment you visit Esme Ex you can see that it’s not a genuine site and as such would-be investors should steer well clear.
Some of the things that reveal Esme Ex to be a scam include:
  • The incredibly poor design and poor use of imagery.
  • The fact that it’s a clone of many other scam sites out there.
  • The website domain name is only a couple of months old.
  • There is no company or team information anywhere on the site.
  • In fact, there’s basically no information or content available.
  • There are no social media channel links visible anywhere.
  • There doesn’t appear to be any apps associated with Esme Ex.
Just one of the things listed above is a huge red flag, but this site pretty much has all the tell tale signs that it has been cloned by the scammers in an attempt to fleece more people.
Esme Ex is 100% a scam site and is not a legit site to trade crypto. Do not engage with this site and block anyone who approaches you about it.
How does the Esme Ex scam work?
The usual modus operandi of scams such as this is that someone claiming to represent the platform contacts would-be investors through social media platforms, such as Telegram or WhatsApp, or a dating website.
They encourage them to invest with the promise of huge returns. Once the ‘mark’ has parted with their cash they’ll soon see their account balance soar.
But when they try to withdraw their funds, the scammers demand more money for commission or taxes to release the cash, and often become quite aggressive if the investor refuses to pay.
They have no intention of sending any money but are using the fake profit as leverage to get the scam victim to part with more of their funds.
Can I get my money back from the crypto scammers?
I’m afraid there’s not much you can do to get your money back, but the situation is not completely without hope.
Reporting the scam to the relevant authorities is a good start and serves the purpose of both helping other people and making the authorities aware of your situation in case they do recover any of the stolen funds.
