⍰ ASK Does gambling affect mental health?

Gambling is usually played as a form of entertainment. But nowadays many people want to adopt it as a means of earning money. If you win by gambling early on, it will release dopamine in your brain. As a result you will try to play more later. This is how it will make you addicted. It affects the mental health of those who gamble regularly. It acts as an arousal during play, causing anxiety. As we feel before the exam. If regular gamblers stop suddenly, it can affect their mental health. What is your opinion?

Because gambling frequently begins as a kind of entertainment but swiftly develops into a habit driven by psychological triggers like dopamine release, I believe it can be dangerously deceptive. I have witnessed how a few early victories can give people a delusion of control, causing them to repeatedly pursue that initial high. In my opinion, regular gambling exposure, particularly when linked to financial gain, can lead to emotional instability, anxiety, and even depression, even though occasional gambling may seem harmless. In my opinion, there should be greater understanding of how abruptly stopping can result in withdrawal symptoms, which is why seeking professional help is crucial for anyone attempting to stop.
