Although Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) have the ability to provide different electronic payment options, they generally do not offer a complete array of conventional banking facilities. The main focus of EMIs is on the issuance of electronic money, conducting payment transactions, and delivering related services. Unlike typical banks, they typically do not facilitate services like loans or interest-bearing accounts. Nonetheless, regulations may differ, and in certain jurisdictions, some banking-like services may be allowed for EMIs, but only within specific limits.
