Dar Center – or Digital Asset Recovery Center – is a fake crypto recovery company that claims to offer help to fraud victims but actually steals more of their cash.
The website of Dar Center states that it can help people who’ve lost money to a wide range of scams, not just crypto. This includes Forex and other types of investment.
Anyone who signs up for help will be asked to pay large up front fees, although no money or crypto is ever recovered.
The scammers also cold call people who’ve already been the victim of a scam and tell them that they’ve found crypto in their name and can recover it, again for a large up-front fee.
Some of the victims who’ve contacted PawProfitForum Team say they’ve asked Dar Center why they can’t take the fee from the recovered money but were given a series of excuses as to why this wasn’t possible.
Ultimately this platform has been set up with the sole purpose of scamming people and will likely only exists for a few months before it’s shut down.
There are multiple red flags on Dar Center’s website, including:
- The company claims to have been around since 2017 yet the domain name was only registered in May 2024.
- There are numerous grammatical errors across the website’s content.
- Genuine companies almost always have a social media presence – Dar Center has none.
- There are multiple reports across the web about this being a scam platform.
- Several people have contacted us and reported that they’ve been scammed by Dar Center.
