❌ SCAM CreepCoin Exchange Scam Crypto App: Another Fake Investment Platform

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

The CreepCoin Exchange follows a similar pattern to many other scam sites in that it features a terrible design and is solely aimed at stealing cash from would-be investors.
It’s part of a family of scam websites and fake apps that have the same appearance and are being used by crooks who find their victims through social media platforms such as Telegram and WhatsApp, together with dating websites.
Several people have contacted me about CreepCoin Exchange, mainly to ask if its legit or a scam. Some have already lost money after being duped.
If you’re thinking about investing here, don’t. CreepCoin is 100% a scam site and is not a legitimate cryptocurrency investment platform.
How to tell CreepCoin is a crypto scam
As usual, there are multiple giveaways, some of which I’ve listed below.
  • The domain name is just a few weeks old.
  • There is no relevant content on the site.
  • It has no social media platforms or other digital footprint.
  • The design is dreadful, including blurred images.
  • None of the links lead anywhere, apart from to a sign up page.
  • The only mention of the site online is in scam reports.
  • None of the wording makes any sense and is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors.
  • It’s clear that the entire platform has been hastily thrown together.
  • The design is a clone of many other scam sites doing the rounds.
How does the CreepCoin scam work?
Most victims are persuaded to invest by someone they’ve recently met online.
Once their money is on the platform it’ll appear that they’ve made a profit after a short space of time but it’s all fake.
When investors come to withdraw their cash, the scammers will demand further payments to release the funds and will sometimes become aggressive.
They have no intention of sending you any money – any further cash or crypto you send will be lost as well.
How can I avoid scam websites?
It’s crucial that you do you own due diligence when considering any investment or purchase decision.
The internet is your friend and should be your first port of call before parting with any of your money.
If you can’t find any information about a company, the chances are it’s a new scam and should be avoided at all costs. Check out the links below for more information on how to spot crypto scams. I have also written about romance scams here.
