A UK-registered company can use a foreign corporate address as its registered office. The registered office gets official documents from the government and others.
Even though the Companies Act 2006 says the registered office must be in the same country the company is registered in (like the UK for UK companies), it doesn't have to be a UK address. A foreign corporate address is okay if the company follows some rules.
The company needs to tell Companies House about its registered office address and keep this info updated. The address has to be a place where legal papers can be sent and be accessible to the public.
