Bnb444 is a fake crypto trading site designed to scam unsuspecting visitors out of their cash or crypto.
Victims are often messaged by strangers on social media platforms and told about the site, claiming it offers large profits over a short space of time.
Once they’ve invested cash, their account balance appears to increase rapidly, and all seems to be going well.
But, when they come to withdraw their funds, they’re blocked from doing so, with the scammers demanding payments to release the cash.
This is another way to extract more money from the victims – the scammers have no intention of returning the other funds.
How to tell bnb444 is a scam
There are many scam sites which are similar bnb444 and the red flags are the same with each of them.
They include:
- The site automatically opens your browser crypto wallet when you visit.
- Very poor design, including pixelated images.
- Text is grammatically incorrect.
- No other online presence, ie reviews, social media platforms etc.
- Bo official apps to accompany the platform.
- A very new domain name with redacted details.
Scammers will often shut down sites and set up new ones within a matter of days so it’s very difficult to track them down.
It’s important to help others by reporting the scam to the police or other relevant authorities in your country.
However, there are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
