❌ SCAM Bltbot Scam Crypto Exchange Review: Victims Tricked Into Investing Through Dating Website

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Bltbot is a scam crypto trading platform that was brought to my attention by an investor who’d had it recommended to him by a woman he’d met on a dating site.
He’d already lost money in a different crypto scam so was extremely wary about investing and thankfully got in touch before going ahead.
The site is very clearly a fake cryptocurrency platform and as such the investor decided against using any of his cash to set up an account.
It’s been set up to very crudely imitate legitimate sites through a slight misspelling of a well-known company in the domain name, and the use of the letters ‘FTX’ on the site. FTX is a completely legitimate crypto trading platform.
How does the fake Bltbot crypto platform scam work?
Users are approached through dating websites or popular social media platforms, such as Telegraph, by people who befriend them and attempt to form a quick relationship.
Once this is established, the conversation quickly turns to investing and the victim’s new ‘friend’ starts suggesting crypto investment platforms that they claim will earn huge returns in a just a matter of days.
Shortly after the victim has parted with an initial deposit they are told that they have made a significant profit. This then increases over the coming days.
However, when the investor comes to withdraw their money they’re told they need to pay a commission or tax to facilitate the transfer.
If they pay this, they are soon faced with further demands for cash, with various spurious reasons being cited.
Eventually the scammers disappear and stop communicating with victims.
How can I sell Bltbot is a fake crypto trading platform?
The Bltbot website is an extremely crude creation and also one of the ugliest scam sites I’ve ever seen.
Here are a few tell-tale signs that it’s fake:
  • There’s no real content aside from a couple of charts showing the market price of a few cryptos, and a heavily pixelated slider displaying finance-related images.
  • There’s none of the content you’d expect from a genuine trading platform, such as company information, explainers, guides and disclosures.
  • The domain name was registered only a couple of months ago at the time of writing.
  • The links that do exist all direct the user to a login screen.
  • The images are incredibly pixelated and do not correspond with the supposed business the company conducts.
Should I invest with Bltbot crypto trading platform?
No, under no circumstances should you send any money to this site.
Perhaps you believe that the person recommending it has genuinely formed a relationship with you, but it’s unlikely they are who they seem.
The people who run these scams often pose as young, attractive females to lure unsuspecting male investors into parting with their cash or crypto.
But the actual person behind the profile will be someone completely different who’s been manipulating investors to steal their cash.
This is 100% a scam site so block anyone who recommends it or tries to get you to invest.
