❌ SCAM Bitcorebtx Scam Crypto App: Fake Platform Steals Deposits

Scam flagged website/app or resource
attachment

Bitcorebtx is a scam crypto platform where the fraudsters have used the name of a legitimate application within the crypto ecosystem in an attempt to convince victims of its legitimacy.
But the site is actually a poorly designed crypto ‘exchange’ that offers zero functionality and has been set up for the sole purpose of stealing investors’ deposits.
Victims are often approached either through social media platforms or dating websites and befriended before their new acquaintance encourages them to invest in the platform.
There are many scams similar to Bitcorebtx which revolve around victims making deposits, watching their profits apparently grow then being blocked from withdrawing their funds.
They are often told by the scammers that they need to send more money to release their money or pay a tax or commission to do so. If these spurious charges are paid, that money is stolen as well.
How to spot the Bitcorebtx scam
There are many immediate red flags with the Bitcorebtx app that are apparent when viewing the website.
These include:
  • From the outset Bitcorebtx appears very amateurish, with a rudimentary design and pixelated images.
  • There is no real content on the site. Legitimate trading platforms would have regulatory and company information.
  • There are no social media links or official apps associated with the site.
  • There are no reviews of the platform online.
  • The content that is viewable is written in poor English and is grammatically incorrect.
  • The domain name was only a couple of months old at the time of writing.
  • There are several grandiose claims on the website which clearly do not relate to the platform at all.
Bitcorebtx is clearly a scam platform, and you should avoid depositing any funds here or engaging with anyone who tries to get you to do so.
I’ve been scammed by Bitcorebtx, can I get my funds back?
It’s highly unlikely that you’ll be able to get your money back as the scammers are extremely adept at avoid detection.
However, there are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
