The Bitcoin Prime app crypto exchange scam platform was brought to my attention by someone who had stumbled across the site after being told by a friend that Amazon Prime was selling Bitcoin.
The person quite rightly decided to do some research and hit Google. They used words to the effect of ‘amazon prime bitcoin’ in their query which unfortunately led them to the Bitcoin Prime App scam cryptocurrency exchange website which, at the time of writing, is the number one result.
Shortly after entering their details on the site, the person was contacted by ‘customer services’ who said they needed to pay £200 to get started, which they did.
The person then explained that the investor would be allocated a personal financial adviser. This alleged adviser then contacted the victim a couple of days later claiming to be from Gmgroup, another scam site designed to resemble a real company.
She told the victim that her initial £200 investment had already increased to £995 in just a week and persuaded them to invest more.
Fortunately, as the additional money was in the process of being transferred, the victim’s bank blocked the payment and rang them to tell them they thought they were being scammed.
The bank and Action Fraud have subsequently investigated the case but told the victim there was no further action they could take.
Despite this, and the fact that payments have been blocked, the victim is still being inundated with phone calls from various companies urging her to invest in Bitcoin (BTC) with them, so clearly her number as been passed around the scammer network.
Is Bitcoin Prime App legit or a scam?
It’s 100% a scam and you shouldn’t touch it with a barge pole.
The website bears all the hallmarks of a typical fake site – cookie cutter template, poorly written, no specific details about the company or the team behind it, not social media channels and promises of huge, easy profits.
I’ve also found a number of websites purporting to carry reviews of this site claiming it’s a legitimate cryptocurrency trading platform, which is most definitely is not.
Bitcoin Prime App is a fake site designed to con you out of your cash and should be avoided at all costs.
Any money you send to this site will be lost forever and you may find yourself pestered by follow-up calls from so-called Bitcoin trading platforms.

Should I invest in the Bitcoin Prime App platform?
No, do not sign up to this site or part with any of your money.
Even though there’s very little the authorities can do to shut down sites such as this, it’s still worth reporting them.
If enough reports are made it may force some action, even if it’s simply a warning being issued to unsuspecting cryptocurrency investors to avoid the site.
