Au-bloomreach is a scam crypto ‘work’ platform that attempts to trick people into thinking it’s connected to the legitimate digital marketing and content management solutions firm which has a very similar name.
The person who contacted PawProfitForum Team about Au-bloomreach was approached at random through Telegram, then later Whatsapp, asking if he was interested in part time work.
He was suspicious but decided to go along with it to see where it would lead.
Ultimately, it turned out to be a version of a common crypto scam where users are encouraged to make ever increasing crypto deposits to earn credits to ‘work’ on menial tasks, such as posting pre-written reviews of give star ratings to products.
Eventually, when they’ve deposited a large enough sum, the scammers lock their accounts and demand further fees to release the funds which never materialise.
Au-bloomreach user’s account
Here’s the user’s account of their experience of Au-bloomreach:
“I was asked if I was interested in part time work. Being curious I responded I was and was told someone would contact me through Whatsapp.
Later that day I was contacted by someone named Ken on whatsapp and they guided me through logging onto a site called au-bloomreach which I believe to be a very rough looking copy of the legitimate site.
I was told I would be put through a training session of around 45min and all I needed to do was “boost” sales.
I was then given my own login and told to set it up and guided through how to “boost” sales in my own login, however they were also pressuring me to deposit money into a crypto account due to some product boosting having a “3% commission”.
It all made very little sense to me but I persevered as I have worked for over 25 years in IT and scams interest me and this was all new to me.
I went through the process of boosting and each day you are allowed to boost 40 items and then cash out.
They communicate all through WhatsApp messages, you are joined to an agent, some sort of ‘bot’ and also a group named “Money Moguls” where the people in it post constantly about how much money they made on a given day/week.”
The user initially made a small amount of money, but then the scammers started asking for ever increasing sums to enable them to carry on working.
It was at this point that they exited the scam and broke off contact with their recruiter without losing any cash.
Au-bloomreach – how to tell it’s a scam site
There are many things that give this platform away, not least the nature of the ‘work’ involved.
Other red flags include:
- Trying to imitate a legitimate company’s brand.
- A very new domain name.
- Very poor design and pixelated graphics.
- Passages of nonsensical text throughout the site.
- No social media channels or apps.
- The promise of big profits for very little effort.
- Bot-run channels giving overly positive reviews.
- No company information or address.
The chances are this platform will close soon, only to be replaced by another one under a different name.
It’s very difficult to track down the scammers or get your money back.
There are private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
