What is katana?​

katana is a blockchain designed specifically for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. The chain focuses on addressing two critical challenges in the DeFi space: achieving deeper liquidity and providing higher yields for users in a sustainable manner. Built by the Katana Foundation and incubated by Polygon and GSR, the project aims to bring “dead bags to life” through concentrated liquidity mechanisms. The platform uses a different approach to maximize yield generation by concentrating all liquidity into three core applications: Morpho for lending protocols, Sushi for spot trading, and Vertex for perpetual trading. katana was running a pre-deposit campaign that allows users to earn exclusive rewards before the mainnet launch. How to Participate in the katana Pre-Deposit Campaign (Expired)​

1. Visit the Official katana Website

3. Choose Your Deposit Asset
   • Select from the four eligible assets: ETH, USDC, USDT, or WBTC
   • Check your wallet balance to confirm sufficient funds
   • If you don’t have any of these funds, you can get them on Binance or bridge the assets using Rhino.
4. Enter Deposit Amount
   • Input the amount you wish to deposit
   • Remember that larger deposits increase your chances of winning valuable krates
5. Receive Your Krates
   • Krates are automatically distributed based on your deposit
   • Track your rewards through the platform interface
6. Go to the leaderboard section to copy your referral link. Invite your friends to earn free krates when your referred friend buys 15 krates.
7. Krate rewards can only be redeemed by the wallet address that made the original deposit.
